Withdrawal policy

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us —

— by means of a clear statement (for example by email or letter) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient that you send your notification before the period expires.

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you are not obliged to.

Personal activation

Your story becomes part of your medallion.

From your personal material I make an individual resin plate, produced specifically for you. You can use hair, ashes, fabric fragments or other personal and symbolic materials. Your material is worked into the resin plate and so becomes a deeply personal part of your medallion.

The resin plate is removable. You can insert it into the medallion, take it out again, and also wear the medallion without it.

Every resin plate is made individually from your personal material and to your instructions, and is intended for you alone. Personal activation is optional — you can also order the medallion without it.

The right of withdrawal in detail

The standard medallion is subject to the statutory right of withdrawal.

Personal activation concerns the production of an individually made resin plate. It is made to your personal specifications and using your personal material, specifically for you. For goods made to a customer's individual specification, the right of withdrawal may be excluded under § 312g (2) no. 1 BGB.

For personal activation we therefore inform you expressly that the resin plate made individually for you is excluded from the right of withdrawal.

Important: The exclusion applies solely to the individually made resin plate. The statutory right of withdrawal for the standard medallion remains unaffected.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract for the medallion, we will refund the payments received for the withdrawn medallion in accordance with statutory provisions.

Repayment is generally made using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

We may withhold repayment until we have received the medallion back, or until you have supplied proof that you have sent it back.

You must return the medallion to us without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal.

You bear the direct cost of returning the medallion, provided we informed you of this properly before the contract was concluded.

What happens to the personal resin plate?

The resin plate made individually to your personal specifications is excluded from the right of withdrawal, provided the statutory conditions of § 312g (2) no. 1 BGB are met.

Withdrawal from the standard medallion therefore does not extend to the individually made resin plate. The resin plate does not have to be returned when you withdraw from the medallion. The amount paid for the individually made resin plate is not refunded in that case.

Inspecting the medallion, and signs of use

Within the statutory right of withdrawal you may unpack and inspect the medallion as far as is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Please handle it carefully while doing so.

Under statutory provisions you only have to pay compensation for a loss in value if that loss results from handling the medallion beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

The medallion should therefore be handled so that it remains as fully usable and resaleable as possible. Where signs of use or damage go beyond this, compensation may be claimed under the statutory conditions.

The amount of any compensation is based on the loss in value actually incurred. No flat return or handling fee is charged.

Damage

If the medallion is used beyond mere inspection during the period in which you may examine it, and is thereby damaged or reduced in value, compensation may be claimed under the statutory conditions. This may be the case, for example, with damage from being dropped, heavy impact, deep scratches, deformation, damaged or dislodged zirconia, or other signs of use going beyond mere inspection.

Withdrawal itself remains unaffected by this. Any compensation relates solely to the loss in value actually incurred under statutory provisions. If, on the other hand, the medallion was already defective when handed over, your statutory rights in respect of defects apply.

Important before you order

If you choose personal activation, you send us your personal material so that your resin plate can be made individually. Please send only material that you are entitled to pass to us for processing.

Because the resin plate is made individually for you, once produced it cannot be used for another person the way a standard product could. The exact appearance of the resin plate may vary depending on the material you send in and on the individual production process.

In short

Without personal activation: medallion at the respective product price → statutory right of withdrawal.

With personal activation: medallion at the respective product price plus the personal resin plate → right of withdrawal for the standard medallion; for the individually made resin plate the right of withdrawal is excluded under § 312g (2) no. 1 BGB, provided the statutory conditions are met.
